On I have read and reread the Belgariad and Mallorean and Belgarath the Sorcerer many times and thought I would give this book a try. I made it about 100 pages and couldn't take the whining and complaining of Polgara anymore. I could care less about her first period. All I can assume is that David Edding's wife had a heavy hand in this book. The narrator does a grrat job, If you are a fan of David Eddings, this audiobook is just a fantastic addition to listen to. Belgariad Prequels 2 books.
